Essential Training Solutions are pleased to announce we have an online infection prevention for Complementary Therapies coming soon. This VTCT Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention qualification is sector specific for complementary therapies and sports massage. This course will be live very soon and we will be taking registrations directly on our website and also from our affiliates.
This regulated qualification, developed with public health experts, build upon the UK Government’s generic public health guidelines, offering bespoke content specific to treatments within the complementary therapies sector. It ensures learners are equipped with the most current and essential knowledge required to safely and effectively perform treatments and services on clients within their industry.
As with all our courses, upon enrolment you will gain access to an online tutorial and multiple choice assessments. These assessments will help you prepare for your final exam. This final exam will need to be invigilated and can be performed with us at our center in Hertfordshire or remotely via webcam.

The aim of the above qualifications is to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and how to work safely. Learners will develop knowledge on the importance of social responsibility, the causes, transmission and effects of COVID-19, and the methods used to control transmission such as correct hand hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). They will also gain an understanding of the safe working practices required in their place of work.
