ITEC Accredited Anatomy and Physiology Coming Soon
Essential Training Solutions that our ITEC accredited Anatomy and Physiology is coming soon. In 2020, Essential Training Solutions become a dual VTCT and iTEC approved center. Today’s blog will give you some insight into our iTEC Accredited Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology course.
Alongside our VTCT Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology course we are now approved to deliver the iTEC equivalent qualification. The new iTEC qualification is Level 3 and fully online, just like our VTCT course. Both qualifications are worth 13 credits and sit on the RQF with a total qualification time of 130 hours.
What we have noticed is that the iTEC course has a more comprehensive coverage of pathology when compared to our equivalent VTCT course. If you decide to choose the iTEC course look forward to a large dosage of conditions, diseases and injuries in your pathology tutorial! We have been making fantastic progress with adding lots of new pathology into the both the course and our Complete Pathology Book which students receive as part of their course materials.
This new iTEC Level 3 course in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology is fully online and will inclusive of the following:
- iTEC course registration including iTEC lifelong membership
- All examination fees
- 24/7 online access for the duration of your course
- The Essential Anatomy & Physiology Study Manual
- The Complete Pathology for Complementary Therapies book – Will be updated to contain over 250 new conditions!

There is also a small difference in how the final exam works. Our VTCT course contains two final exam papers whereas our iTEC course will have just one. The iTEC exam also comes with a pass, merit or distinction grading scheme whereas the VTCT course is just a pass, regardless of your percentage pass. Both the VTCT and iTEC course are multiple choice exam papers which our learning management system will prepare you for.
In addition to this new course we will also be releasing a new and updated version of our Complete Pathology Book for Complementary Therapists. This excellent book is perfect for both new and experienced therapists who would like a handy reference guide as they work.
