Online COVID-19 VTCT Qualifications

Essential Training Solutions are pleased to announce that we have been approved to deliver a number of online COVID-19 VTCT qualifications. The sector-specific VTCT Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention qualifications will be live next week and we will be taking registrations directly on our website and also from our affiliates.

These regulated qualifications, developed with public health experts, build upon the UK Government’s generic public health guidelines, offering bespoke content specific to treatments within each relevant sector. Each qualification ensures learners are equipped with the most current and essential knowledge required to safely and effectively perform treatments and services on clients within their industry.

As with all our courses, upon enrolment you will gain access to an online tutorial and multiple choice assessments. These assessments will help you prepare for your final exam which must be invigilated by the ETS team. This can be performed with us in Hertfordshire or remotely via webcam.

The aim of all the qualifications is to develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and how to work safely. Learners will develop knowledge on the importance of social responsibility, the causes, transmission and effects of COVID-19, and the methods used to control transmission such as correct hand hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). They will also gain an understanding of the safe working practices required in their place of work.
